Four Board Seats Open for November Election

Four board seats, those of Rick Taylor, Gerielle Waltz-Stewart, Larry Foster-Goodrich and Alice Hullhorst, are open for the November election.  The filing deadline is August 10 at 4:00 p.m.  Candidates are required to do one of two things:  pay $100 or get 40 signatures.  Petition forms can be obtained in the township clerk's office.  For more information call the township clerk, Anna Scott-Goodsell, at 381-2360.

The Comstock Board of Education would like to invite prospective board trustee candidates to attend either the special board work session on Monday, June 21 at 6:00 p.m., or, the regular July 12, board meeting at 7:00 p.m., for a question and answer period relating to what is involved in being a school board member. Both meetings will be held in the Comstock Education Service Center at 3010 Gull Road, in the board of education room.  If you have any questions regarding the meeting, please contact Ms. Faye Goldner, at 388-9384.
