The James and Lois Richmond Scholarship Fund
established in 2013
Spurred by their belief in the Comstock community, its schools, students, and wanting to motivate graduates of Comstock High School to pursue a higher education, longtime Comstock residents James and Lois Richmond established the The James and Lois Richmond Scholarship Fund, a one million dollar endowment to provide college scholarships to high school graduates starting with the Class of 2014.
All Comstock High School students pursuing a degree at either Western Michigan Univeristy, Kalamazoo College, or Kalamazoo Valley Community College can apply for this scholarship. Students interested in this scholarship opportunity can obtain information about all the qualifications, as well as how to apply for this scholarship, from the College and Career Academy office at Comstock High School.
Comstock High School alumni who received the Richmond Scholarship their senior year of high school and are currently enrolled at Western Michigan University, Kalamazoo Collage, or Kalamazoo Valley Community College are encouraged to re-apply using the form located in the Application Forms page.
