I graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Art Education in 2000, and this will be my twelfth year working as an Art teacher. Throughout my career I have taught all levels of Art including pre-K all the way to college courses. I currently teach both at Northeast Middle School and Comstock High School starting with fifth grade Art through dual enrollment HS/KVCC classes at our high school. I enjoy working with a variety of different levels and students each and every day. I love working with a sorts of materials and media in my classes, but my favorite things to do in art are drawing and painting.
Aside from art, my family takes up most of my free time away from school. I am married and have two children. My family likes to stay active and enjoys outdoor activities. We also have fun going to local events and participating in community activities.
