Concussion Awareness On-Line Training Program

Pursuant to Michigan Public Acts 342 & 343 of 2012 all coaches, employees, volunteers, and other adults involved with a youth athletic activity MUST complete a concussion awareness on-line training program. As a coach inComstock you will only need to take this training one time. For your records, we recommend you keep your completion certificate on file.Also, make a copy of the certificate and turn it into the athletic office.

CPR/AED Certification

It is required that all Comstock coaches that are coaching a school sponsored sport hold a valid CPR Certificate.  Training sessions will be covered by the school district.  Online courses are available at https://www.onlinecprcertification.net/.

CAP 1 & 2 Training

The MHSAA requires all varsity head coaches completed MHSAA Level 1 or Level 2 CAP training prior to beginning their 1st season.  In addition, Comstock encourages all sub varsity coaches obtain this training as well.  Coaches can go to the link below to register and the school will cover the costs related to this training.
