New Instructional Coach at STEM AcademyComstock STEM Academy is pleased to announce that Julie Woods will be joining the STEM Academy staff for the 2018-19 school year. She will be serving as the instructional coach for the teachers at STEM.

Since her teaching career began in 2001, Mrs. Woods has taught 5th-8th grade science, 2nd grade, 1st grade, and kindergarten. Now, she is excited to be the new instructional coach at Comstock STEM Academy. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Western Michigan University, followed by her Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Michigan State University.

Whether hiking in the Pacific Northwest, laying on the beach, skiing, or hanging out with her pal Mickey Mouse, Mrs. Woods enjoys traveling all over, typically with her husband and 2 kids in tow.

Mrs. Woods has enjoyed watching the growth of both the students and the opportunities at STEM, and looks forward to doing her part to enhance both. She loves working with and supporting teachers, and is excited to work with the amazing students and phenomenal staff at STEM Academy.
