2-20 - Comstock 53 - Otsego 79

Comstock varsity boys basketball team were defeated 79-53 Tuesday night to Otsego. The Colt's played great basketball for 3 out of the 4 quarters but had to many turnovers and missed opportunities in the 3rd quarter. Dominique Hines led the way in scoring with 15 points and Vernard Whitehead added 11 points.

1-22 - Comstock 45 - Constantine 38

Comstock Varsity boys basketball hit the road again Monday night and had a great team win against Constantine 45-38. The game was close throughout but great defense by the Colts helped them pulled away in the fourth quarter to get the victory. Seth Ansel led Comstock with 13 points and Dominique Hines chipped in 12 points.

1-19 - Comstock 50 - Brandywine 57

Comstock varsity boys basketball team fell on the road Friday night to Niles Brandywine 57-50. The Colts dug themselves into a hole in the first and third quarters and trailed by 26 points going into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter Comstock played great basketball and went on a 23-4 but ran out of time. Vernard Whitehead led the Colts with 14 points and Seth Ansel added 11 points.

12-19 - Comstock 61 - Allegan 58 OT

The Comstock Colts varsity boys basketball team got a much needed victory against Allegan last night in thrilling fashion 61-58 in overtime. It was a close game through out but Allegan forced overtime with a few buckets down the stretch. In overtime Comstock found themselves down by 6 with just over a minute left when Seth Ansel took over hitting three 3's to give the Colts the lead for good. Seth ended the game with 22 points and 11 of them in overtime. Jacob Wells added 21 points for the game on his 16th birthday.

12-12 - Comstock 45 - Gull Lake 58

The Comstock varsity boys basketball team suffered there second loss of the season last night 58-45 to Gull Lake. Comstock started the game very slow falling behind 16-2 and couldn't put together enough runs to get back into the game. Missed opportunities was an issue all night for the Colts. Dominique Hines lead the scoring with 9 points and Devon Alexander added 8 points.

12-5 - Comstock 59 - Vicksburg 66


Comstock varsity boys basketball team opened the season on the road against Vicksburg Tuesday with a loss 66-59. Trailing by as many as 17 points in the game, the Colts kept rallying and making runs but Vicksburg seemed to always have a run of their own to keep them on top. Jacob Wells led the way in scoring with 17 points and Seth Ansel added 12 points.
The Colt's will be home Friday night in a conference matchup against Berrien Springs.
