Class of 1959

“Bob Morgan is a 1959 graduate of Comstock High School. As a tennis player he was KVA #1 singles champion and was the captain and leading scorer on the 1959 district championship basketball team. During the tournament he averaged 25 points per game with a high of 33 against University High in the championship game. After graduation, Bob attended Kalamazoo College and was a 4 year starter on the basketball team. The 1962 team was MIAA champions and was inducted into the K-Hall of Fame. After K, Bob became a teacher and coach at Galesburg-Augusta Schools where he was part of Bill Maskill’s legendary football program. Bob is very proud to become a member in the Comstock Hall of Fame.” - Robert Stanley
